Harvesting from the garden has gotten a bit challenging ever since Eavan became more interested in it. She loves to dig in the dirt and help us weed but when it comes to harvesting the literal fruits of our labor we encounter a few problems. 1- if she impulsively tries to pick a tomato or pepper she can take down an entire plant. 2- once a fruit, especially a bell pepper, has been pulled, it rarely makes it into the house without making a trip to her mouth for a test bite. Everything comes in looking like we have a field mouse problem. At least she’s learning to like fresh veg!

We haven’t posted in a long, long, long time but I’m going to try out this new idea. I’m just going to post a few sentences here and there about the funny, adorable, crazy things Eavan does. She changes so fast and makes me laugh, smile and want to pull my hair out everyday and I don’t want to forget why. Here goes:

She asks for the “dance song”, aka Call Me Maybe, in the car every day and proceeds to sing all the words she can keep up with, which consists of the phrases “wind blowin”, “miss so bad” and “at baby” and the words “kiss”, “you” and “maybe”. Otherwise she is bobbing her head and trying desperately to keep up.
