Long time, no posts. School has totally sucked me in and there has been no time for posting. Everyone who reads this is on FB anyway so sometimes it’s easy to justify not posting things since you are going to see them elsewhere. As Patrick said to me yesterday, “Winter was all about stress. Spring was all about change. Summer is all about exhaustion.” he then promptly fell asleep on the couch. Eavan is growing like a weed, talking up a storm and climbing on EVERYTHING! If I was a betting woman I’d say we have a rock climber on our hands. She’s certainly become quite the little adventurer and I’m sure that this winter when her uncles get her on a snowboard we are going to be in serious trouble.
Eavan is also having adorable nonsensical conversations with herself, her toys, her dogs and while reading books. Often she tells the dogs to “sit!”, says “good boy”, asks for “daddy” (no longer dada), and demands her “nanas” for breakfast. She’s progressed to full on running everywhere she goes and her little bow legs are the cutest things ever (though they look like they are straightening out). We thought she had fully recovered from her eye surgery in April but just this weekend a little stitch granuloma popped up on her eyelid so we are hoping that goes away without having to go back to surgery.
So that’s that. Things seem to be settling down and we were able to relax over the holiday weekend in Seaside Park courtesy of Amy and Nick. Hopefully I’ll be able to post a little more now that I found the WordPress app for my iPad. We shall see!
